The title,"This Is It", is based on the name of 50 concerts that MJ planned to hold from July of this year to March next year. In the poster released earlier, the King of Pop was standing with her arms open before his fans, with unforgettable images of stages in his life in the background.
It was reported that the film had surged a rush for the ticket before release and had created an unprecedented pre-sale record. In major sites of North America, this film accounts for 80% of the movie ticket booking. In London, surpassing "Harry Potter" and "the Lord of the Rings", more than 30,000 tickets were sold with 24 hours. In Paris and Munich, thousands of funs got up in midnight and lined up to buy tickets.
The first showing ritual of the film which is grand and worldwide will be held in the musical stadium in Los Angeles. Various stars including the chief creating and Forest Whitaker will attend it. The host even sent invitations to MJ`s families and hoped they will attend the premiere film and also wanted to hold a private movie show for them. But MJ`s father Jackson Joe and mother Jackson Catherine didn`t want to buy it.
According to informed sources, the production company has offered MJ's family 60 tickets. But his mother insisted that nobody had talked with her about the ticket of premiere. In fact, Katherine Jackson don't expect too much about the so-called movie. She expressed her opinion, "This Is It" is not a movie, there is no public performance of MJ, it is just pieces of reheasals. MJ's father insisted that the film is basically a substitute and there is no shadow of MJ himself. However, MJ's three children told their grandmother that they wanted to watch his father's film very much.
