More than 10 years ago, I read "Romeo and Juliet". Spring’s Fairest parker pens Direction of Fashion At that time, I focused only on the story itself and simply did not feel the charm of this work. Now re-read the book, I still was shocked and touched in my mind by faithful love between Romeo and Juliet, especially their ever-burning humanism spirit, and aesthetic charming of language. The work of Romeo and Juliet is full of humanism, which was lacked in many works, showing high level of thought in this work. Humanism is human's view of life, dream or value and it's a magnificent spiritual state of human. Everyone should work hard to practise and to pursue it,thus, it is eternal. Today human society has stepped into 21 century, material culture has reached a quite height, but development of quick development does not equal increase of mental culture. On the contrary, egoism, benthamism and money worship have a corrosive influence on the human spirit. Romeo and Juliet's pursuit of humanism shows their dignity and value, and that's just the most exciting point in this play. How to Protect the Mode of ed hardy ? Shakespeare wrote about 10 comedies and one tragedy in the first period of his creation. His comedies are mainly written to show of the ideals of humanists, to celebrate love and friendship, and to promote individual liberation, freedom of marriage and personal right for happiness. At the same time, Shakespeare criticize the phenomenons of parentage view, feudal moral and feudal oppression, and also revealed some ugly evil of capitalism. This type of comedy included [The Midsummer Night's Dream", [The Merchant Of Venice", [Windsor Scandalous Woman", [Much Ado About Nothing" and"As You Like it". Romeo And Juliet, created in 1595,was the only tragedy of this period but its inner contents corresponded to that of the comedies at this time as well. Romeo and Juliet deplorably died for love, but their love was so pure and beautiful. Their love defeated the feudal oppresion and prejudices finally, and revealed the vigorous life and ultimate success of humanism. Humanism is the soul in the drama of Romeo and Juliet, which has aesthetic charming for so long is because of plump humanism contained. Romeo and Juliet shows a devastating love tragedy, through moving conflicts, characteristic figures and elegant language. The hero and heroine were born in two feudal families who were enemies for generations. They fell in love with each other in an encounter but it is impossible for them to get maried. They turned to Lawrence priest. The peiest sympathized and understood them so he held a wedding for them secretly. But the feudal housefather Capulet wanted to marry his daughter Juliet to the young aristocrat Paris and he forced them to get married as soon as possible. Juliet turned to Friar Laurence again and the friar gave her some sleeping pills to let her pretendedly die so as to escape from this disaster. Meanwhile, Romeo received the punishment to be banished to Mantua because he killed Mrs Capulet's nephew Tybalt in a fight. He was deeply grieved knowing his wife's death so he returned to Verona the very night determined to die with his beloved Juliet. So he poisoned himself besides his wife. When Juliet awakened from the coma, she found her husband dead, so she also kileed herself with poison. The tragicaaly end of Romeo and Juliet made the parents of the two sides realize the heavy price of the feud and reconciled under the auspices of the Prince. We can learn from the outline of this story that the tow feudal parents Kaipulaite and Montague are on behalf of a well-worn feudal thought and tradition, they disregarded the youth`s freedom and love, created the hatred and conflict between the two families and suffered the consequence of lost their son and daughter. The Romeo and Juliet represent a new kind of humanism bravely and resourceful struggling with feudal ideas and traditions. Even though the outcome of the struggle is a tragedy, but in return it is the victory of the spirit of humanism and carried forward. Of course, in this play, the spirit of humanism is mostly embodied in the two young heroes - Romeo and Juliet, which are two well-shaped figures by the author. They are the artistic image which express the author's humanistic ideals. The romance love between Romeo and Juliet is really shaking. This pure, noble and tragic love makes countless secular love pale. The spirit of humanism in the 14-16 centuries in Europe is the philosophy and value of the bourgeoisie in the period of rising. there are many limitations of times if we see it today. But it aims at " human beings". It respects men's thinking core about nature and value. It will not be out. In this "humanism" age, we still have to learn the spirit from Romeo and Juliet.
